What is Pikaly?

Pikaly is a free generative-art studio. Choose a style — Bauhaus, Sol LeWitt, Josef Albers, op-art and more — adjust the colors, and download a unique, print-ready artwork in seconds.

Is the difference between generative art and AI art real?

Yes, and it’s fundamental. Generative art is made by deterministic rules an artist designs — nothing is trained on other people’s images or prompted. AI image generators statistically guess pixels from a prompt using models trained on millions of scraped images. Pikaly is entirely generative art.

Is Pikaly free?

Yes. Every generator is free to use and free to download as SVG or PDF, with no account required.

What file formats can I download?

Print-ready vectors: SVG and PDF. They stay razor-sharp at any size, from a postcard to a large gallery-wall poster.

Can I print Pikaly art, and how?

Yes. Download the vector and try it at home or at a local print shop for free, or own it properly: a museum-grade archival giclée on Enhanced Matte Art 200gsm, printed once and retired forever. Prints start at €69 — browse and order at pikaly.com/collection.

Is each piece really a 1-of-1?

Yes. Every piece in the Collection is a true 1-of-1 of its seed: generated once, printed once, and never numbered or reprinted. Once a seed sells, it’s retired forever. We don’t run sales or scarcity timers either — the price is the price.

How do shipping and returns work for prints?

Prints are made to order and shipped worldwide. Because each is custom to its seed, the EU 14-day right of withdrawal generally doesn’t apply — but if anything arrives damaged, defective, wrong or is lost in transit, you get a free replacement or a full refund. Can I use the art commercially or sell prints of it?

You own the pieces you create and can use them personally and commercially. See the Licensing page for the full terms.

What is the seed code next to my artwork?

The seed is the fingerprint of your exact piece. Enter the same seed again and you get the identical artwork every time — so your generation is reproducible, not a random throwaway.

Do I need an account or design skills?

Neither. Open any generator, make a few choices, and export. No sign-up, no software, no design experience needed.
