Licensing & usage rights

Short version: the art you make on Pikaly is yours. Here’s what that means in practice.

What you can do

• Download and keep any artwork you generate, for free.
• Print it for yourself — at home, a print shop, or as a giclée — at any size.
• Use it personally: walls, gifts, phone and desktop wallpaper, personal projects.
• Use it commercially: in your own products, branding, packaging, client work and merchandise you sell.

What we ask

• Don’t resell or redistribute the generators, templates or the Pikaly tool itself.
• Don’t claim you built the Pikaly software, and don’t pass the generators off as your own product.
• A credit (“made with Pikaly”) is appreciated but never required.

The honest fine print

Pikaly’s generators draw on well-known art traditions — Bauhaus, Sol LeWitt, Josef Albers, Bridget Riley, Jean Arp. Those styles and the underlying ideas are not owned by anyone. What you make is your own composition built on those traditions.
